On the 3rd November, Charles and Susanne Akerstrom were welcomed again to Minehead Camera Club to judge the first Open Competition of the season.

The competition had attracted a large entry, especially in the digital section and the standard was generally high. The winners can be found on the Competitions page. The evening was well attended and was most interesting due to the wide subject matter in the photographs. Susanne & Charles are pictured with 1st place winners, Stuart Warstat & Joan Litchfield.

Members were also advised that exhibition space had been obtained in Butterflies Café and Toucan Café in Minehead and were asked to supply two mounted prints each by the next meeting so these could be framed and hung in the respective establishments on the 8th December.
