The 5th January saw the first meeting of the New Year for the Minehead Camera Club at its Sainsbury Hall location in Minehead.

On this evening entries for a competition with the set subject of “Blue” were judged by the renowned and popular George Reekie DPAGB ABPE. Although this was a difficult subject, there were a reasonable number of entries and the standard was high. The winners can be found on the Competitions page.

George then rounded off the evening by showing a display of his own work which was extremely interesting and impressive.
