On Monday 6th. February members met for the 69th Annual General Meeting of the Club. 90% of the membership attended this important meeting to map out the future direction of the Club.
The Chairman in his report said, 2016 hade been another difficult year in our long history, due in part to the loss of another four members, reflecting the trend within other clubs in our area.
Looking to the future and with everyone's support, we can, like the Phoenix rising from the flames, bring our Club back from the brink.
Keeping our Website and Facebook Pages up to date with new images and promoting the club at every opportunity to attract new members is vital to our continued existence.
Following the business meeting, members were treated to the WCPF Inter Club DPIC competition for 2016. 56 Clubs entered this year with 1009 images. The winners again for the second year were F8 Imaging Group from Taunton,with joint second place were
Exmouth Photo Group and Bristol Photographic Society, Dorchester Camera Club came a close 4th.
All agreed that these images had been imaginative and inspirational.
